This class is an introduction to building and programming robots using the LEGO® Educational Robotics Set. Students will learn mechanical design, construction, programming and teamwork skills. In small teams, using LEGO® blocks, motors and sensors, students build robots that can walk, draw, move objects, or find their own way and avoid obstacles. Students use a control console or computer to teach their robots to move, react, and make sounds in order to solve challenges.
This class is good preparation for kids interested in robotics competitions such as FIRST LEGO® League. New challenges included for returning students.

This class is taught in eight to sixteen 1 hr sessions as an after-school program for
K to 9TH graders. Contact your School regarding availability.
